Un-ignored: this is the working copy the emulator actually boots (patched BTL4OPT.EXE v4 lineage + .orig/.nop14/.pre_idle/.pre_limit backups, TESTARN.EGG arena1 test egg, REL410 BT+RP trees, VGL_LABS pod boot bats, VWETEST factory test suites, SB16 Creative utilities). ADVANCED SPEAKER PLACEMENT TEST:
|
|
|
|
> While test is running listen to the test tone at each speaker in the
|
|
selected cluster.
|
|
|
|
> Find the center of each speaker and press the Audio Level Meter against
|
|
each speaker grill and hold it there.
|
|
The meter should read as follows:
|
|
|
|
- For woofers: between 78 and 88 db
|
|
- For midrange: between 90 and 98 db
|
|
- For tweeters: between 102 and 110 db
|
|
|
|
> If the speaker reads lower
|
|
- its wiring may be broken.
|
|
- its wiring may be switched with a speaker in another cluster.
|
|
- its wiring may be switched with a speaker in the same cluster.
